Continuing Medical Education
ASTRO prides itself on providing highly effective continuing education programs with strategic educational goals and has used the self-study process to reflect on the programs strengths, weaknesses and goals to establish priorities to improve the overall CE program effectiveness. Key points are evaluated at all ASTRO events to determine the effectiveness of the programs, including if the meeting was well attended and if a demonstrated change in behavior can be identified, as well as improved knowledge, skills and attitude regarding program content. We are also looking at ways to increase participant/faculty interaction to enhance the learning experience. ASTRO provides CME activities in three ways through the ASTRO School of Radiation Oncology:
ASTRO provides Red Journal CME as an educational tool to assist in keeping members current with new technology and scientific advances and to continue efforts to increase accessibility to evolving evidence-based medicine. The following is a list of CME activities you will find in the Red Journal. The articles for the exams provided by ASTRO will be located in each journal corresponding with the month and date listed below. You will also find the article in the detail section of the online exam when you have registered for the online CME activity.
