ASTRO PAAROT Program Version 2.0 Now Available
Free access to the 2008 PAAROT program ended December 31, 2008. Members already enrolled in the program will continue to have access 18 months past their enrollment date. Please enter your login and password below. There is a required three month waiting period for participants after the entry of their first chart set to re-measure. To help us establish the normative averages for comparison and compliance, we encourage participants to complete their re-measurement as soon as they are eligible.

ASTRO has developed the Performance Assessment for the Advancement of Radiation Oncology Treatment program, which has been approved by the American Board of Radiology as a Type 2 PQI project. PAAROT involves periodic chart review and reporting on measures, which are compared to a database of peer responses, expert consensus and evidence-based guidelines. Based upon this comparison, the physician is asked to select one measure to improve upon and make that the focus of that PQI project. In order to complete the PAAROT program, the radiation oncologist will write a brief description of the change that will be implemented that should result in the alignment of the selected measurement with the national average. After a period of re-measurement, the physician will submit a conclusion as to whether or not the desired change in outcomes resulted.
